Riesling 2009

The grapes used in this Riesling are harvested from a single rocky vineyard, resulting in a wine with lush aromatics and tons of flavor. Rieslings suitable for extended aging are high quality dry or off-dry. Riesling with naturally high acidity, and sweet Riesling with high sugar content.

Area (s) Rhine region of Germany, where it is generally made in an off-dry style, and lower alcohol levels.

Alsace region of France, where it is generally made in a dry style, with higher alcohol levels.
 

Tasting notes: On the nose, is bursting with Asian pear, white peach and spring flowers. Apricot, pear, lime, and a pleasant minerality keep this off-dry wine at the perfect level of subtle sweetness.

Colour: yellow pale

 

Food pairs This is a great wine with vegetables, salad, scallops, shrimp, goose, duck, Thai food and Chinese, mild curries as well.
