Pinot gris (or pinot grigio, as it is known in Italy) probably is the best-known "white" variant-clone of Pinot Noir. Ripe pinot gris grapes may be described as having colors from bluish grey to light pinkish brown. Clusters with a variety of colors are not unusual. Pinot Gris can be tangy and light, or quite rich, round and full bodied. Made in appropriate style, it is one dry white wine that may even age well.
Tasting notes: This Pinot Gris is a little shy on the nose, it exhibits apple and citrus aromas. What it lacks on the nose, the palate more that makes up for it, it displays true Pinot Gris colour and flavors reminiscent of apples, stone fruits, spice and citrus. It is medium to full bodied and it lingers on the mouth for minutes.
Colour: yellow straw pale
